On April 30, 2024, the United States Sentencing Commission submitted to Congress amendments to the federal sentencing guidelines. Specifically, the acquitted conduct amendment revises USSG §1B1.3 (Relevant Conduct (Factors that Determine the Guideline Range)) to exclude acquitted conduct from the scope of relevant conduct used in calculating an individual’s guideline range.
